Becsa was founded in 1969 as a family-owned construction company in Castellón de la Plana. Over the years, it has grown to become one of the leading construction firms in the Valencian Community. Today, we have a strong national presence, primarily operating in Castellón, Valencia, Alicante, Albacete, Madrid, La Rioja, and Tarragona, and we have recently started projects in the Canary Islands.
Becsa has carried out a wide range of projects for both public and private clients. Thanks to our specialised teams, we bring added value through our experience, efficiency, reliability, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
In the field of infrastructure, we offer a comprehensive portfolio including urban development and road construction, as well as expertise in ports, airports, hydraulic and marine infrastructure, and environmental projects.Building construction is another of our key areas, with numerous projects in residential, educational, and healthcare facilities, as well as leisure and retail developments, sports facilities, car parks, and refurbishment works.
We also carry out projects in the industrial sector, whether through specialised industrial works or the construction of logistics centres.
Integrated within our construction business is our installations company, Indertec, which focuses on renewable energy and energy efficiency. Collaboration with our construction division allows us to offer complete, efficient, and sustainable solutions to our clients.
Another important area of our business is road and infrastructure maintenance. We have provided maintenance services under contracts with the Ministry, provincial councils, and municipalities.
Our extensive experience has also led to the specialisation of our Asphalt Department, which operates a dedicated laboratory for the research, development, and optimisation of increasingly sustainable bituminous mixtures.
At Becsa, we are fully aware of the challenges that climate change poses to the construction sector. Environmental considerations are fully integrated into our development policies and embedded in the quality controls applied throughout all construction processes, in accordance with the UNE-EN-ISO 9001 standard.
Our environmental management includes measures such as waste management, recycling of construction and demolition waste (CDW), eco-design, life-cycle analysis, and circular economy initiatives. All of these practices are supported by an Environmental Management System certified under UNE-EN-ISO 14001 and externally audited across our projects and permanent facilities.
Additionally, we actively monitor and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Becsa has been a pioneer in the sector, officially quantifying and recording its Carbon Footprint, achieving emissions reductions and receiving recognition from the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
