Becsa is fully committed to occupational health and safety, two key aspects that differentiate our company. As part of Simetría, we share the commitment to implementing best practices in workplace risk prevention, ensuring regulatory compliance and the continuous improvement of working conditions.
At Becsa, we allocate the necessary resources to ensure that all personnel, whether directly employed or working under our supervision, follow safety procedures and instructions without exception and with due diligence. To support this, we have platforms for contractor accreditation and the coordination of business activities.
Like all other companies in the group, Becsa participates in a Joint Prevention Service, which ensures consistent implementation, development, and monitoring of safety requirements across all areas of activity. The prevention service carries out actions to provide comprehensive risk prevention and safeguard the health of all employees. In addition, Simetría’s prevention service is officially certified as an approved training entity by the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción.
Beyond prevention, we actively promote health and raise awareness of healthy lifestyle habits among our team. All these efforts are accredited by our Occupational Health and Safety Management System, certified in accordance with ISO 45001:2018, demonstrating Becsa’s ongoing commitment to workplace health and safety in line with current and future standards.
Becsa has implemented a Road Safety Management System to manage the comprehensive maintenance and conservation of urban and interurban road infrastructures. Certified under ISO 39001:2012, this system allows us to work with the goal of reducing the number of traffic accidents and minimising their consequences, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved in our operations.
