Infrastructure and Sustainable Development
Becsa has a long-standing relationship with the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and its School of Civil Engineering, Canals and Ports. In 2007, the school’s faculty assisted us in implementing an R&D&I management system. This commitment between the university and our company has been strengthened over the years through collaboration on various R&D&I projects with promising results.
With the establishment of this chair, we formalise a qualified, extensive, and long-term collaboration aimed not only at continuing research growth but also at nurturing one of our most valuable assets: attracting talent to our company.
The Becsa Chair “Infrastructure and Sustainable Development” aims to promote and foster young talent, while also bridging the gap between academic studies and the professional world, supporting students’ transition into the workforce.
The ultimate goal of the chair is to contribute to the development of sustainable infrastructure and to familiarise students with the construction sector, helping them define their future career paths.
